Jesus Is The Reason For The Season

By Immanuel | Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

jesus-is-the-reason

Santa lives at the North Pole.

JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh.

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year.

JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies.

JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited.

JESUS stands at your door and knocks… and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa.

JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap.

JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn’t know your name, all he can say is “Hi little boy or girl, What’s
your name?”

With Great Glory

By Immanuel | Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Wow! First, I watched the HistoryMakers one hour condensed video. Then found the source and watched the four one hour videos used to create the HistoryMakers version… and could not hold back the tears. I cried for five solid hours listening to the hymns, prayers and testimonies from a body of believers that truly know the voice of their Shepherd and follow only Him.

Then, I wondered, what is wrong with our church here?

The Chinese church has so very little and yet they have much more than we do. Their only doctrine is the everlasting Word of God, His saving grace and unending love.

See the great work of our Lord as He carries His children away in a mighty flood of Grace, Love and Power.

With Great Light

By Immanuel | Friday, December 11th, 2009

Our Lord wants us to see his Glory in China and wake up from our long slumber. I can only see the great revival intensifying with the persecution.

The Stanley Frodisham (a personal friend of Smith Wigglesworth) prophecy given in Chicago in 1965:

“When I visit My people in mighty revival power, it is to prepare them for the darkness ahead. With the Glory shall come great darkness, for the Glory is to prepare My people for the darkness. I will enable My people to go through the darkness because of the visitation of My Spirit.”

My Story, Raw And Uncut

By Dana Joiner | Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

I believe it’s important to tell the whole truth of who we were before Jesus. I am in no way glorifying my past. Just being very honest about where I came from. I pray my testimony gives hope to the hopeless.

My earliest memories are full of humiliation, confusion, rejection and anger. When I was 5 we moved to Manteca, CA from the bay area. It was a very big change. At such an early age I didn’t understand why the people were so different. Later I realized that it was a neighborhood heavily infested with meth. The kids knew way too much and were quick to teach me. I was abused in various ways countless times by the older kids in the neighborhood, and when I wasn’t being hurt, I was robbed for my stuff. I used to let kids just take off with my stuff because I knew I really had no choice.

Around that time I started having night terrors. Terrible, demonic dreams that left me paralyzed with fear in my bed. I would wake up screaming nearly every night from the time I was 6 until I was around 11. CPS came to my house because the neighbors thought someone was beating me. I made my mom sleep with me all the time and there was never a peaceful night in our house.
