Meetings were transferred to the former African Methodist Episcopal
Church at 312 Azusa Street. During the next few days as they were
renovating the lumber store the first convert was recorded. One of the
women who were cleaning the building had one of the workmen down on his
knees and he was soundly converted before the place was opened.

On Easter Sunday morning (April 15th) Jennie Evans Moore took the
Asbery’s to Smale’s church. After the sermon, when Smale invited
testimonies. Jennie took the floor and told the congregation what had
taken place in the Asbery home and in Azusa Street. She then spoke in
tongues and the awed congregation heard Ruth Asbery give the
interpretation.

On Tuesday a reporter from the Los Angeles Times visited Azusa Street.
On the following day the paper carried the report of this visit. The
same paper led with a report of the San Francisco earthquake that
resulted in the death of 10,000 people.

With great judgements will I plead with the population of this country. Great darkness is coming upon the countries that have heard My gospel but no longer walk in it. My wrath shall come upon them. The darkness shall be so great and the anguish so sore that men shall cry out for death and shall not find it. There shall be a lingering death, famine and great catastrophes.

The prophecy above is not the only one in modern times that I have come across that states the Lord is not pleased with his church and we will be judged to bring us back to him. It’s pretty clear in the Word of God concerning the sins of Israel.

When I visit My people in mighty revival power, it is to prepare them for the darkness ahead. With the Glory shall come great darkness, for the Glory is to prepare My people for the darkness.

God’s Descent

A young woman named Mary was engaged to Joseph from King David’s family. Before they were married, she learned that she was going to have a baby by God’s Holy Spirit. The angel Gabriel greeted Mary and said, “You are truly blessed! The Lord is with you.” Then the angel told Mary, “Don’t be afraid! God is pleased with you, and you will have a son. His name will be Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of God Most High. The Lord God will make him king, as his ancestor David was. He will rule the people of Israel forever, and his kingdom will never end.”

Mary asked the angel, “How can this happen? I am not married!”

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come down to you, and God’s power will come over you. So your child will be called the holy Son of God… nothing is impossible for God!”

At that moment, Mary knew her life and reputation were ruined. What was her reply?

Mary said, “I am the Lord’s servant! Let it happen as you have said.”

Joseph was a good man and did not want to embarrass Mary in front of everyone. So he decided to call off the wedding. While Joseph was thinking about this, an angel from the Lord came to him in a dream. The angel said, “Joseph, the baby that Mary will have is from the Holy Spirit. Go ahead and marry her. Then after her baby is born, name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Mary was engaged to Joseph and traveled with him to Bethlehem. She was soon going to have a baby, and while they were there, she gave birth to her first-born son. She dressed him in baby clothes and laid him on a bed of hay, because there was no room for them in the inn.

In his Jewish history, Josephus wrote: “I found a geneology of Jesus in Jerusalem. Jesus was the illegitimate son, of an unfaithful woman”. Even during the time of Jesus ministry, when in his 30s, some Jews still mocked him, “We were not born from adultery”.

Through a shamefully pregnancy and a birth in poverty, God came into the world.

From the Koine Greek used in Scripture, Mary was a ‘very young girl’; probably fourteen or fifteen. She is in labor, in a strange town, with no place to have her baby. At last, they find a cave used to shelter and feed livestock. Joseph has to move animals out of the way so Mary has a room on the floor. Imagine the environment. Close, cramped quarters, filled with smell and sounds of livestock. Then, Mary’s travail; not much in the way of anesthetics back then. I imagine her cries of pain filling the cave. Then, rejoicing! Our Savior is born.

That night in the fields near Bethlehem some shepherds were guarding their sheep. All at once an angel came down to them from the Lord, and the brightness of the Lord’s glory flashed around them. The shepherds were frightened. But the angel said, “Don’t be afraid! I have good news for you, which will make everyone happy. This very day in King David’s hometown a Savior was born for you. He is Christ the Lord. You will know who he is, because you will find him dressed in baby clothes and lying in a bed of hay.”

Did angels descend from heaven and announce the Saviors birth to the kings, the influential, the aristocracy or even the high priests of the Temple? The angels announced the King’s birth to the shepherds in the field. The lowest caste in Jewish society.

Suddenly many other angels came down from heaven and joined in praising God. They said:

“Praise God in heaven!
Peace on earth to everyone who pleases God.”

Folks, the Breath of God is on this generation; old and young alike. Ready for revival? I believe we are in the midst of the Great Revival.

I have only read about the Holy Spirit falling on children this way in books written about events surrounding the Azusa Street Revival. Gustavo Lopez, from the Victory Life Center Spanish Church (translated the December 20, 2009, Christmas message), was gracious enough to watch this video and give me his take. He tells me the language is not Spanish, but Portugese with several segments in tongues.

Hello everyone,

I staggered across this video documentary this morning, and it has shown me the alarming results of what I have known for years. I believe that you should take 7 minutes of your time this morning and view this video. We have slept while others are rising….It is no wonder the prophetic words that many of the Pastors have heard from me has been hitting on Islam recently….

We must come together as the Kingdom of God NOW…REVIVAL must begin NOW throughout this Central valley and the planet… Pray that the flesh (soul) of your bones obeys the call to unity of the Kingdom!….

I believe that this is where we are in time , I also believe that we will see much more prior to the return of our Lord, it is critical for us to awake….OH but the urgency I feel….

Matt 13:35

Matt 13:37-40

I will be holding a special dinner meeting in the upcoming month/year for Church leaders and Pastors, Prophets, Apostles, Evangelists, Teachers, As I believe that this meeting is the will of the Lord and I believe I have heard from the Lord on this.

The policeman looked down at the little boy and said, ‘You go down the street to that big white house and you knock on the door. When they come to the door you just say John 3:16, and they will let you in.’

So he did. He walked up the steps and knocked on the door, and a lady answered. He looked up and said, ‘John 3:16′. The lady said, ‘Come on in, Son’.

She took him in and she sat him down in a split bottom rocker in front of a great big old fireplace, and she went off… The boy sat there for a while and thought to himself: John 3:16 …I don’t understand it, but it sure makes a cold boy warm.

Later she came back and asked him ‘Are you hungry? ‘He said, ‘Well, just a little. I haven’t eaten in a couple of days, and I guess I could stand a bite of food,’

The lady took him in the kitchen and sat him down to a table full of wonderful food. He ate and ate until he couldn’t eat any more. Then he thought to himself: John 3:16… Boy, I sure don’t understand it but it sure makes a hungry boy full.

She took him upstairs to a bathroom to a huge bathtub filled with warm water, and he sat there and soaked for a while. As he soaked, he thought to himself: John 3:16… I sure don’t understand it, but it sure makes a dirty boy clean… You know, I’ve not had a bath, a real bath, in my whole life. The only bath I ever had was when I stood in front of that big old fire hydrant as they flushed it out. The lady came in and got him. She took him to a room, tucked him into a big old feather bed, pulled the covers up around his neck, kissed him goodnight and turned out the lights. As he lay in the darkness and looked out the window at the snow coming down on that cold night, he thought to himself: John 3:16… I don’t understand it but it sure makes a tired boy rested.

The next morning the lady came back up and took him down again to that same big table full of food. After he ate, she took him back to that same big old split bottom rocker in front of the fireplace and picked up a big old Bible.

She sat down in front of him and looked into his young face. ‘Do you understand John 3:16?’, she asked gently. He replied, ‘No, Ma’am, I don’t. The first time I ever heard it was last night when the policeman told me to use it,’ She opened the Bible to John 3:16 and began to explain to him about Jesus. Right there, in front of that big old fireplace, he gave his heart and life to Jesus. He sat there and thought: John 3:16… don’t understand it, but it sure makes a lost boy feel safe.

You know, I have to confess I don’t understand it either, how God was willing to send His Son to die for me, and how Jesus would agree to do such a thing. I don’t understand the agony of the Father and every angel in heaven as they watched Jesus suffer and die. I don’t understand the intense love for ME that kept Jesus on the cross till the end… I don’t understand it, but it sure does make life worth living.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
